Job Description

For one of my top crypto-listed NASDAQ clients, I am looking for an onboard specialist (Scripting skills required) within the Engineering team. My client encompasses a cryptocurrency exchange, as well as a trading platform. You’ll be part of a distributed engineer team that has helped to build the digital assets exchange platform. Your team is in London, Hongkong, and Singapore.

Role: Onboarding specialist

Annual salary: £50K- 84K, depending on experience

Type: remote

Eligible for: UK, Ireland, and European candidates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in integration and support activities related to my client suite of products (Exchange, Access Trading).
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders on a multitude of requests from simple queries to complex integrations.
  • Proactively monitor the application systems. Identify, investigate, escalate and manage any issues and incidents that arise. Keep a clear track record of issues and incidents. Communicate effectively to relevant stakeholders.
  • Document and maintain common knowledge / new products/processes / technical tasks
  • Think outside the box on how to improve existing technology, process, products, security, and more! Share ideas, own your initiatives, and drive delivery.
  • Be curious and excited to learn new things every day, don’t hesitate to get involved.
  • Be a team player ready to wear multiple hats and help other teams when needed

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Front Office Support, Integration, Connectivity, or similar capacity
  • Good understanding of:
  • E-trading technology and business workflows (trade/order lifecycle) from crypto or trad-fi environments (Exchange, Bank, Hedge Fund, Tech Systems)
  • Trading APIs (REST, WebSocket, FIX)
  • Production Support, Incident management, Change management processes (e.g., ITIL), and tooling (e.g., Datadog, Grafana, Kibana, AWS, Elastic Search)
  • Small project management (client integration projects, initiatives)
  • Scripting / Testing (Python, Java, Go, Shell)
  • Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization
