This is a Managing Director opportunity with a homegrown Singapore FinTech business that provides supply chain financing solutions and connects suppliers with customers alike. Having secured Series A funding and now entering phase 2 of their expansion plans, they require the talents of a dynamic and experienced individual to take the business to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

• Report to the Board of Directors, leading a medium-sized team with full product and P&L ownership
• Leadership – provide overall direction of the business, derive and execute long-term strategy with aims to achieve sustained growth rates and profitability
• Stakeholder Management - develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential investors and partners, in the context of fundraising (Series B) and business development
• Business Development – Grow customer and supplier base, drive market expansion projects in South-East Asia via partnerships and/or greenfield initiatives
• Operations – ensure operational efficiency and optimal level of resources are in place to support the growth of the business (headcount planning, resource allocation, etc)

Key Requirements

• Degree in Business / Finance / Economics or equivalent
• A minimum 10 years FinTech / Finance experience with prior exposure in a start-up / VC environment
• Proven track record in leadership roles and scaling up businesses (fundraising and operations)
• Knowledge of alternative investment and financing products
• Regional experience – South-East Asia and/or Asia-Pacific
• Entrepreneurial mindset, dynamic, hands-on approach
