Job Description

One of the fastest growing BNPL Fintech brands has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Sales. Reporting into the Managing Director, you will develop, implement and execute the UK sales strategy encompassing the market financial performance and objectives, go to market, new business development, customer segmentation and acquisition, sales team development and management, and sales optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing Merchant acquisition and Gross Merchant Value (GMV) revenue objectives.

  • Own revenues end-to-end, including Enterprise, Midmarket and SMB sales, Client Success, and Merchant Services.

  • Create and execute new business opportunities driving UK revenue growth

  • Making sure the organisation has a clear outside-in view of the business in the UK and has a GTM strategy for growth.

  • Hiring, coaching, and leading the UK sales teams to be a high performing and a highly engaged cohesive revenue generating organisation.

  • Leading the strategic development and direction of the UK sales training and development programme.

  • Support in leading the development, planning and execution of the UK quarterly business review process.

  • Communicating with the ELT on progress towards strategic goals and objectives for UK Sales.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience and extensive new business experience in Payment, FinTech, Financial Services, Retail, e-Commerce, or SaaS industries.

  • Extensive relationships in the UK Retail/Online Retail/e-Commerce industry and/or a network to execute new partnerships and new business opportunities.

  • Significant experience in the leadership & development of a high performing Sales organisation within the Payment/FinTech, Financial Services, Retail, e-Commerce, or SaaS industries.

  • Experience of operating within the fundamentals of strong sales methodology including cadence meetings, sales enablement, sales optimisation as well as progressing a training and development schedule for the sales workforce.

  • A history of successfully partnering with marketing and aligning the customer acquisition strategy.

  • Deep understanding of the target Merchant base, the competitive market, and an ability to analyse sales performance to maximise revenues and drive commercial success.

  • Development of strategic and tactical plans with proven experience delivering to targets.
