Job Description

My client, a leading travel company company, are seeking a Group Finanacial Director to take full financial responsibility for the business. Reporting to the Group CFO, you will be responsbile for formulating a financial strategy, long term plan and set high-level targets for the department to align with overall Group target and business plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare year-end financial statements for the business and to consolidate the group accounts

- Prepare and review monthly management accounts with budget holders, focusing on full-year forecast prediction versus budget. Identifying and managing risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and update annual budgets, working with budget holders.
- Continuous improvement of the new accounting system; helping to improve its effectiveness
- Be a strong business partner with the budget holders, working with them to understand the business and help them understand Finance.
- Prepare financial reports and ensuring organizational financial stability to improve the Company’s financial performance.
- Strengthen the company’s brand image and customer advocacy
- Evaluation and analysis monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
- Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
- Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
- Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
- Develop and maintain good relationships with related business partners both internally and externally
- Monitor SOPs development and amendment to ensure all SOPs align with Regional standards and guidelines, and comply with regulatory requirement
- Track operating progress and result against annual plan and KPIs to ensure targets are met; provide supports as needed
- Support innovation and continuous improvement including promote best-practice within the company
Key Requirements
- Degree educated with an CA, CPA or MBA qualification
- 10+ years' post-qualification experience in a senior role with a strong financial, accounting and managerial skills
- Excellent reporting background - statutory/management accounts/consolidated statements.
- Demonstrating Strong leadership skills and be able to help direct reports and cross functional teams to make informed decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deal effectively with a variety of stakeholders
