A Singapore Headquartered Bank with global footprints, is looking to expand its corporate secretarial team. The ideal candidate will ideally be someone who can embrace tight corporate governance standards and deliver stellar quality work.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Work with board of directors on relevant updates on companies act, corporate governance act and corresponding statutory obligations
  • Inception to follow ups for Board Meetings including preparing of board pack, preparing meeting files and writing minutes
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance and reporting to the authorities
  • Some knowledge of compliance and operational risk will be helpful
  • Drafting of board resolutions which involve changes/appointment of Power of Attorney
  • Work closely with related business divisions to attain and/get approvals for any corp sec matters
  • Assist with any ad-hoc projects warranted by the department

Key Requirements 

  • At least 7 years corp sec experience either in-house or with a service provider
  • Experience in a SGX-listed and/financial institution will be very helpful
  • Mandarin skill is required due to stakeholders involved
  • Appreciation of the fine balance between adhering to timeline and delivering accurate output
  • Strong commercial acumen and able to quickly form rapport with various business units
