Job Description

Working with an exciting start-up tech company that offers on-demand cloud services around the world, allowing companies to enter fast-growing emerging markets. Headquartered in California, the company has recently closed a Series C funding of $50m and is looking to expand its presence across North America & Europe.

The company offers Cloud services and IT infrastructure that allows organisations to expand into new regions globally, which are hard to penetrate. The platforms offer low latency that instantly enables worldwide connectivity to deliver superior user experiences.

After a successful year, the company is now looking to capitalise on its success and hire a Chief Revenue Officer to manage and grow a high achieving sales team across North America and Europe (35+ sales reps).

The role reports directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shaping a clear and strategic vision for revenue growth and effectively communicating that vision throughout the organisation.

  • Work closely with the executive team and board of directors to develop growth strategies for pioneering new markets and competitive opportunities

  • Build a robust and accurate revenue pipeline and forecasting

  • Inspire customer success leadership to define and deliver on the customer value proposition

  • Create a ‘lean start up’ mentality of constant experimentation and learning

  • Responsible for the sustainable growth of the business by increasing revenue year on year

Key Requirements:

  • 20+ years in diversified leadership roles, driving and implementing revenue growth within a media, entertainment & gaming industry's

  • Proven track record of growing revenue through new product development, marketing, branding, and partnerships

  • Inspirational leadership style and hands-on approach with the ability to lead change and take others with you

  • Understanding of how to establish and maintain excellent relationships with C-level executives of key target clients and channel partners

  • Able to demonstrate a high degree of passion/energy and be entrepreneurial in your approach

  • Passion for technology and the ability to present complex products succinctly to both technical and business decision-makers in the media/gaming industry
