My client, a China based food & beverage company, are seeking an individual to lead across all areas of finance and support the President and Board of Directors in delivering the company’s long-term objectives. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Formulate the company's financial goals, policies and operating procedures, and report to the president and board of directors of the Group;
• Guide and control the company's financial resources, and maintain the company's short-term and long-term financial stability;
• Lead the company's financial department to ensure that financial transactions, systems and procedures are consistent with the company's short-term and long-term business goals under the premise of following relevant laws, regulations and accounting standards;
• Establish and improve the company's financial management and audit system, and organize its implementation, preside over the formulation of the company's financial strategy, financial management and internal control;
• Support the integrated business of production and marketing (from pasture to supply chain production to deep distribution of dairy beverages nationwide)
• The scope of work involves accounting, credit control, cash flow, investment management, taxation, insurance, finance, internal audit, budget and forecast analysis, foreign exchange, etc.;
• Ensure the timely and accurate submission of various financial statements and management statements of the company;
• Evaluate commercial activities and transactions such as acquisitions, investments, capital operations, mergers or asset sales to ensure their financial feasibility;
• Establish and maintain good relationships with banks, investment analysis and other financial institutions;
• Through leadership, evaluation and development of a senior manager team, to ensure effective and consistent implementation of the company's financial strategy and compliance with established regulations;
• Complete other related tasks assigned by superiors

Key Requirements 

• Degree educated, ideally with an MBA, CA or CPA qualification
• +10 years finance experience in a leadership capacity, preferably in the food and beverage or dairy industries
• Fluency in Mandarin is required to interact with local external stakeholders
• Proficient in using ERP systems such as SAP
• Strong leadership skills to manage a highly skilled local finance team
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills required for cost analysis and price model building for fast-moving consumer goods production and marketing;
