Our client is one of the top Private Banks in the region; focusing on expanding the Asian and European markets. The bank is known for its resilient investment strategy with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, mitigate and monitor business/ operational risk across the bank (particularly, Front Office related activities)
• Conduct risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs) on a regular basis and advise on new product assessments
• Continuously update the operational risk policies and framework reflecting the regulatory changes
• Advise the senior management on all business risk related matters and in particular with regulations relating to their product offerings
• Educate and advise internal stakeholders on Risk Management policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the broader Operational Risk/ Compliance to assist with Risk/ Regulatory related projects under the COO office

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Accounting, Risk Management or related fields
• At least 8 years of relevant Business Risk, Operational Risk or Investment Suitability experience within the Private Banking industry
• Strong knowledge of Private Banking/ Investment-related products and front office processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Able to effectively build and manage relationships with various teams across the business
