Our client, a global consumer electronics/manufacturing MNC, is looking for a (Senior) Legal Counsel to be part of their established team led by a well-regarded and experienced Head of Legal. This role is a regional role, across several jurisdictions in APAC, and will be exposed to a wide range of work.  Candidates from private practice are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of corporate and commercial contracts
• Advising the business on legal and regulatory matters 
• Crafting, implementing and monitoring of the relevant company policies
• Responsible for training and educating the commercial teams on the pertinent legal, risk and compliance issues
• Being a key business partner to the business, providing sound and commercially feasible legal advice
• Assisting the Head of Legal on other miscellaneous legal work as need be

Key Requirements

• Coming from a top law school
• At least 5 years of experience in a top law firm and/or in-house experience
• Excellent corporate commercial experience with good drafting skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, independent, initiated
• Commercially savvy
