Our client is a well-established FMCG organization, listed in Paris Stock Exchange for more than 60 years.Their products are nowadays present in almost every bookstore worldwide. As part of their strategic plan,they are currently looking for a talented accounting professional, who is ready to take on the challenges of the role of Regional Accounting Manager. This role covers a full spectrum of finance, including statutory reporting, management reporting, tax reporting, audit and FP&A.

Key Responsibilities

• Weekly reporting/submission of cash forecast and sales
• Monthly closing activities and reporting requirements including accruals and preparation of templates for submission. Analyse the results and provide explanations on major deviations against budget
• Coordination with Shared Service team on processing of invoices
• Handling validation, processing and tracking of customer claims
• Coordination with Regional HQ on specific reporting and planning requirements
• Coordination with sales and marketing team in the preparation of rolling forecasts
• Working closely with HR team in matters relating to costs and payroll inputs
• Submission of GST and annual return in cooperation with tax agent
• Statutory and management reporting and administrative work for dormant subsidiaries
• Liaison with external / internal auditors for annual auditing process
• Liaison with tax agents to file for corporate tax
• Capital expenditure – evaluation, preparation and submissions
• Preparation of financial models and templates to support distributor pricings

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or ACCA
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience, with exposure to distribution model is critical  
• Experience in SAP / Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is a must
• CA / CPA qualification is highly advantageous
• Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to handle complexity matters and deal with high pressure and tight deadlines
