Job Description

For one of our clients in London, I am looking for a motivated full-time IT Support Engineer. You’ll be part of a dynamic team and support 100+ employees, from setting up laptops to configuring Microsoft software. Are you looking for a role in a dynamic and growing organization?

  • Salary banding: £26K - £32K +5%-10% discretionary yearly bonus
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in a similar role

Key Responsibilities (expected to grow):

  • Be an active member of the IT team supporting the London, Frome, Chicago, and Munich offices.
  • Provide onsite support to London employees, 100+
  • Log and monitor IT support incidents and requests; categorizing, prioritizing, and escalating where appropriate.
  • Update and maintain the IT inventory.
  • Assist in the building of, and provisioning of, laptops, phones, and software.
  • Ensure all laptops are patched and free of malware.
  • Ensure our London meeting room tech is maintained and ready to use.
  • Contribute to the creation of documentation, including self-help solutions and wikis.

Key Requirements:

Essential:

  • Enthusiasm for IT and a passion for technology.
  • Good problem-solving skills and calm under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • 1-2 years experience in maintaining and troubleshooting Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of network configuration and troubleshooting.
  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including Maths, English Language and Science.
  • You will need to be mobile – there will be occasional travel between our London and Frome offices.
