A forward thinking FinTech leader is currently looking for a seasoned analytical, results-driven backend software engineer who will be responsible for solving existing problems, evolving the team’s existing architecture, improving operations, integrating the front-end elements built by your team into the application and implementing new features to deliver quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand user requirements and translate them into technical solutions together with the product and design teams
• Recruit, train, develop and manage engineers
• Manage team members from other teams or locations
• Meet architectural objectives
• Write reusable code in a clear and elegant manner using TDD, DDD and CI/CD
• Design systems architecture for projects
• Carry out brainstorm sessions
• Run web and mobile projects through planning, testing and reviewing
• Troubleshoot, debug and maintain after unit testing and automation
• Work with front-end developers for better server-side logic
• Collaborate with engineers and other teams like product management, marketing and hardware to ensure project timelines and requirements are met
• Evaluation and share insights

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing, managing support distributed systems
• Minimum 10 year of experience as a backend developer
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Maths, Physics or related fields
• Knowledge in Cloud technology like AWS
• Result-oriented with good learning attitude
• Experience in leading engineers from other teams and locations
• Able to work in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Good understanding of latest web trends
• Hands-on coding and software design
• Proven track record of projects completed
• Passionate in UX and quality
• Acumen for technical reasoning and problem solving
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong leadership skills
