This global investment group has invested globally in public and private equity across a range of industries, and Singapore serves as a key headquarters of the Group.

This role is part of the Senior Leadership team based in Singapore, where you will be directly involved in charting the company’s trajectory in its global expansion. As the General Counsel, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Group’s legal and compliance requirements. You will oversee an existing legal team, and also manage and liaise with external counsels.

You will be involved in cutting edge transactions and high-value investment deals; and be responsible for managing the global legal and compliance function. 

You should have more than 14 years of solid M&A transactional skills, ideally with experience in Asian deal-making. Candidates not currently based in Singapore are welcome to apply.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Counsel / Partner in the M&A / PE department of an international law firm to move into an in-house environment, with strategic involvement in driving the corporate directives of the company.
