Job Description

You will be responsible for the full spectrum of day to day accounting functions, driving financial control and compliance with SOX, US GAAP, IFRS including the preparation of statutory and management reports with analysis/insights. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Timely and accurate completion of monthly & yearly financial statutory and management reports SEA entities
  • Full responsibilities of but not limited to AP, AR, GL, intercompany recharges and reconciliation, fixed assets, tax filing, expense claims, credit reviews of customers and more
  • Prepare and consolidate SEA management reports with insights on monthly/quarterly variance analysis
  • Prepare and simplify monthly consolidation/reporting, annual budget, monthly light and quarterly forecast process to support engagements with business to drive business performance and submissions to HQ
  • Ensure internal controls are in place
  • Refresh and improve existing Finance policies
  • Provide practical guidance with standard operating procedures across business units in SEA
  • Manage the treasury function including working capital and cashflow forecast
  • Prepare and support annual audits, tax filing and liaise with external, internal auditors and tax agents
  • Support day to day finance operational business activities with support of an Accounts Analyst
  • Participate in ad hoc projects including and not limited to process/system improvements/cost savings initiatives or as assigned

Key Requirements

  • Degree educated, ideally in Accounting, Finance or Business, with experience in an all round finance role
  • Preference for candidates who have worked in an FMCG or manufacturing company
  • Excellent communicational skills to build rapport and influence a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Highly analytical and strong in financial systems (SPA, HFM, TM1)
  • Ability to thrive in complex and ambiguous market situations
