My client is an extremely exciting early stage fintech start up in the SEA region. Headquartered in Singapore, they are revolutionizing the way millions of consumers will be able to have access to financial services and products.

They are at a very exciting juncture where they have secured strong financial backing by leading global investors and are now looking to continue their growth story. As part of this journey, they are looking for an extremely driven and capable CTO to drive the technical vision and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the technological vision, strategy and architecture of the platform as part of the leadership team.

• Design, develop and deliver a robust, scalable, efficient cloud architecture to support the companies products and services.

• Drive hiring efforts, building, mentoring and nurturing a world class engineering and tech organisation

• Lead and manage on-site and remote teams.

• Develop the technology strategy/roadmap and design solutions with the highest standards in terms of security and scalability.

• Build backend and database architecture that could be scalable as the product is enhanced · Build and maintain a modern development process in terms of Testing, CD and CI.

• Collaborate across multiple teams to address their needs in terms of compliance, product enhancements and performance.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in a similar technical leadership role (VP Engineering, CTO, technical founder etc) in a fast pace and high growth start up environment.

• Computer Science degree or equivalent

• Experience hiring and attracting top tier engineering and tech talent.

• Team management and leadership experience (leading engineering teams of 20+)

• Prior experience working with AWS, GCP or Azure. Kubernetes and Microservices architectures.

• Experience working with high scalable distributed systems, encryption, Financial Services and regulated environments would be preferred.
