Our client, a leading insurance player is looking for a Compliance Manager, APAC. This is a regional role primarily responsible in implementation of group compliance programs, an excellent opportunity for individual looking for a broader compliance scope and a more strategic work. Travelling will be expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the implementation of compliance programs and requirements
- Prepare and conduct compliance reviews and risk assessments
- Provide business oriented advice to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations
- Provide ad-hoc legal & compliance advice to in-house legal & compliance teams
- Provide training to employees regarding legal, compliance & data privacy topics
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments in Singapore and the region
Key Requirements
- At least 5 years of compliance management experience; insurance/ banking/ regulatory work or data privacy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to lead and manage compliance projects independently
- Proven team player and strong stakeholder management
