Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal guidance on corporate governance and compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
- Stay abreast of evolving regulations in the crypto and payment sectors.
- Advise on regulatory compliance and licensing requirements.
- Lead and oversee investment transactions, including due diligence and structuring.
- Provide legal counsel for fundraising and M&A activities within the web3 ecosystem.
- Leverage extensive experience in the financial services industry to guide business decisions.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies.
- Prior experience as a regulator, such as time spent with MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore), is highly desirable.
- Use regulatory insights to navigate complex compliance challenges.
- More than 10 years of post-qualification legal experience, with a strong focus on financial services.
- Extensive experience in leading law firms and in-house legal departments.
- Deep expertise in crypto, payments, and related regulatory matters.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to provide strategic legal counsel and drive business objectives.
- Admission to practice law in Singapore or eligibility to practice law in Singapore.
