Our client, a Singapore headquartered pre-IPO company with a global reach is looking to fill a newly created Senior Legal Counsel (min 10 PQE) with relevant experience in advising on IP and Corporate matters.

Reporting to the General Counsel, the successful candidate will be a key addition to the legal team (with members across Singapore and USA) and advise on a broad range of legal matters including (but not limited to) corporate transactions, general corporate commercial, disputes, regulatory and compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of corporate commercial contracts

• Advise business stakeholders on IP and licensing matters

• Advise on corporate transactional matters (M&A, JV, Investments; etc)

• Assist in corporate development and other projects that would help gear the business towards an IPO

• Advise on disputes matters (as and when it arises)

• Advise business stakeholders on legal risks and ensure mitigation strategies are in place

Key Requirements

• LLB/JD/LLM qualified

• Called to the Bar (min 10 PQE)

• Good experience in advising on both IP/licensing deals with global MNCs and corporate transactions (M&A/Cap Markets)

• Prior experience in the niche live entertainment, events, and exhibition industries would be very well-regarded
