Our client, an international and well-backed digital infrastructure business is looking to fill a Senior Legal Counsel (5 to 8 PQE) role. Reporting into the Head of Legal, this is a highly visible role with a broad scope, advising on both transactional as well as general corporate commercial matters across the region.

Day to day scope will include but not limited to partnering with business stakeholders (e.g. site selection team) and advise on real estate, site acquisitions, leasing, project/infrastructure development, energy procurement and other commercial matters.

Candidates (5 to 8 PQE) with law firm experience (ideally from international law firms) in Project Development/Construction/Infrastructure/Energy/Real Estate Practice will be highly relevant. Relevant in-house experience would be very well-regarded but candidates straight from law firm are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements
• Advise business stakeholders on real estate laws, transactional matters (i.e. site acquisitions and project development) as well as other general corporate commercial and operational matters
• Keep abreast of developments in the sector and relevant laws to ensure policies and frameworks are kept robust
• Play the role of a key business partner and support the team in navigating legal and regulatory matters across the region
• Identify possible legal risks on commercial transactions/deals and ensure sound mitigation plans are in place

Key Requirements

• LLB/LLM from top tier Universities
• Min 5 PQE gained from leading law firms (ideally international law firms) in relevant practice groups - Real Estate/Project Development/Construction/Infrastructure/Energy
