Job Description

Our client, a prominent Digital Infrastructure Multinational Corporation (MNC) with an extensive international portfolio of assets, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Counsel to join their legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled legal professional to contribute to a rapidly expanding organization at the forefront of the digital infrastructure sector.

Responsibilities:
  • As a Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in advising on a wide spectrum of commercial contracts and transactional matters. Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead negotiations and draft a variety of commercial agreements, including but not limited to, technology agreements, service contracts, and vendor agreements.
  • Provide legal support for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence and assess legal implications of proposed business transactions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in project development, front-end engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) matters.
  • Advise on legal aspects related to project finance, construction contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where the company operates.
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business units, finance, and senior management, to provide timely legal advice and support.

Qualifications:
  • Qualified lawyer with a strong academic background.
  • Good experience (2 to 5 PQE) in handling commercial contracts and transactional matters.
  • Expertise in project development and front-end EPC work highly regarded.
  • Experience gained from leading law firms or relevant in-house roles.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
