They are seeking a skilled and experienced Legal Counsel, Litigation to join their in-house legal team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of PQE, with a Singapore Bar qualification, and possess a robust background in litigation and dispute resolution within the banking and financial institutions sector. This role is an excellent opportunity for a litigation lawyer with top-tier law firm experience to transition in-house and make a significant impact within a leading fintech company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage litigation and dispute resolution matters involving the company, including drafting pleadings, preparing for hearings, and representing the company in court proceedings.
  • Develop and implement effective legal strategies to protect the company’s interests in various jurisdictions within the region.
  • Provide expert legal advice on potential litigation risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Coordinate with external counsel and manage relationships with law firms handling the company's litigation matters.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and provide legal advisory support on contentious matters to various internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal teams on litigation risks and best practices.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including settlement agreements, pleadings, and correspondence related to litigation matters.
  • Maintain detailed records of litigation matters and prepare regular reports for senior management.



  • Qualified lawyer with a Singapore Bar qualification.
  • 3-5 years of PQE in litigation and dispute resolution practice, specifically with experience in the banking and financial institutions sector, gained at a top-tier law firm.
