With a strong presence across various regions and industries, they are seeking a seasoned Legal Counsel to join their dynamic legal team.

Job Overview:

As a Legal Counsel with a minimum of 6 years post-qualification experience (PQE), the successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive legal support to the organization's diverse portfolio of projects. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts, demonstrating expertise in both front-end and back-end legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex commercial agreements, with a specific focus on EPC contracts.
  • Ensure legal documentation aligns with the company's policies and objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with projects, transactions, and contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop risk-mitigation strategies.
  • Stay abreast of regional legal developments and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance to the business on compliance matters related to construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage and support dispute resolution processes, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
  • Advise on strategies to resolve disputes efficiently and in the best interest of the company.
  • Collaborate with various business units, including project management, finance, and procurement, to ensure legal alignment with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 years PQE as a practicing lawyer, with a focus on EPC contracts.
  • Strong experience in both front-end and back-end legal matters related to engineering, infrastructure, and construction projects.
  • Law firm and/or in-house legal experience is highly desirable.
