Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex commercial agreements, with a specific focus on EPC contracts.
- Ensure legal documentation aligns with the company's policies and objectives.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with projects, transactions, and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop risk-mitigation strategies.
- Stay abreast of regional legal developments and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance to the business on compliance matters related to construction and infrastructure projects.
- Manage and support dispute resolution processes, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
- Advise on strategies to resolve disputes efficiently and in the best interest of the company.
- Collaborate with various business units, including project management, finance, and procurement, to ensure legal alignment with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years PQE as a practicing lawyer, with a focus on EPC contracts.
- Strong experience in both front-end and back-end legal matters related to engineering, infrastructure, and construction projects.
- Law firm and/or in-house legal experience is highly desirable.
