The successful candidate will leverage their legal expertise, particularly in the fintech/crypto sectors, to navigate regulatory frameworks, provide strategic counsel, and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal guidance and support on a broad range of issues including regulatory compliance, contracts, intellectual property, and corporate governance in the context of crypto and fintech operations.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including product development, compliance, and business teams to assess legal risks and implications of business initiatives.
- Conduct legal research and stay abreast of evolving regulations and industry trends affecting the crypto fintech landscape.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, terms of service, and policies ensuring alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and policies specific to the crypto fintech industry.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal team, specializing in fintech, crypto, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and legal considerations within the crypto fintech sector.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, providing legal advice, and managing regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
