Our client, a global leading player in its industry is looking to fill a newly created Legal Counsel (min 5 PQE) role in its Shanghai Office.

Reporting to the Deputy GM, Legal, the successful candidate will play a key role in advising a broad range of legal matters across the group's international operations. Day to day scope will include but not limited to drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts, advise on transactional (M&A/Investments/Financing), disputes, employment as well as other general corporate commercial matters.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is common law qualified (due to international remit of the role) and effectively bilingual with strong drafting competency in English. A mix of leading law firm (Corporate Practice) and in-house experience will be very well-regarded.
