We are working with a listed medical devices manufacturer, in search of a Chemist. The potential candidate would be involved in the API manufacturing process including set up, validation, and continuous manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in manufacturing activities, during the technology transfer, qualification, and validation batches
• Participate in API new process/production set up, equipment qualification
• Write and review Batch Record documents
• Perform lab familiarisation or user testing for material suitability
• Provide technical cover during processing period
• Work closely with process engineers and other departments to deliver these continuous improvement projects including change control management

Key Requirements:

• 4 years' experience in process chemistry, pharmaceutical manufacturing process
• (Huge plus) Facilitated a successful transition from laboratory to full scale production
• Degree in Chemical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Science
• Experience in API and NPI
• Experience in technology transfer/commissioning/validation in pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in material qualification
