Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Legal Compliance: Advise on privacy compliance, draft privacy notices and policies, manage data requests, conduct internal training, and ensure adherence to privacy laws and regulations.
  • Product Architecture: Offer guidance on new product launches, assess privacy risks, and ensure privacy considerations are integrated into product development and roll-out strategies.
  • Risk Management: Conduct privacy impact assessments, support in incident management, and contribute to audit and due diligence activities to uphold our privacy standards.

 

Key Requirements:

 

  • Legal qualification in EMEA jurisdictions, with a preference for UK Bar.
  • 6+ PQE minimally, both practice and in-house accepted.
  • A practical mindset for delivering concise and innovative solutions swiftly, especially under pressure.
  • Demonstrated commercial insight and the ability to grasp the core drivers of business value.
  • A collaborative nature, adept at engaging effectively with teams and stakeholders.
  • Capability to operate independently, navigating fast-paced settings with ease.
  • While not essential, a background in financial services and familiarity with data privacy laws is beneficial.
