Job Overview
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the FATP manufacturing plant's operations, ensuring the production of high-quality products, meeting financial and operational targets, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of FATP processes, exceptional management skills, and a proven track record in driving operational excellence.
Main responsibilities/tasks:
• Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership and direction to the plant management team and workforce. Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee all FATP operations, including final assembly, testing, and packaging. Ensure efficient and cost-effective operations while maintaining the highest standards of product quality.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the plant's financial and operational goals. Align plant objectives with the overall business strategy and ensure successful execution.
• Financial Performance: Manage the plant's budget, control costs, and drive initiatives to improve profitability. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance FATP processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste. Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
• Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Promote a culture of safety and implement programs to reduce workplace accidents and injuries.
• Talent Development: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team. Provide coaching and mentorship to staff and create opportunities for professional growth and development.
• Customer Focus: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to understand customer needs and ensure timely delivery of products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Innovation and Technology: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in FATP technology. Drive innovation and adopt new technologies to enhance plant operations and competitiveness.
Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• years of experience in a senior management role within a FATP manufacturing environment, preferably in a global company.
• Proven track record of successfully managing FATP operations and achieving financial and operational targets.
• Strong understanding of FATP processes, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and drive change initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies and automation is a plus.
