Job Description

A key FMCG player is now in search of a Head of Channel Sales & Merchandising Lead to head up the team. This person is responsible for achieving profitable sales growth, maximizing channel and category performance with full responsibility .

 

Job Duties

  • Lead the development and execution of the channels short- and long-term strategies which optimizes profitability and sales revenue and achieves company, category and customer objectives
  • Manage channel / customer P&L to maximize trade investment to drive quality growth with the company
  • Develops strong and influential relationships with key customers focused on delivering shopper, channel and category centric solutions which accelerate customer engagement
  • Leverage insights to influence customers to implement category based solutions and identify new opportunities that will deliver results that are beneficial for both customer, category and business
  • Develop and maintain strong and influential relationships with key customers and collaborating internally, to deliver develop and execute mutually beneficial joint business plans and deliver sustainable growth
  • Develop and implement the total HK merchandising strategy among all channel

 

Requirement

  • Graduate calibre, with extensive experience in FMCG/consumer sector
  • Strong P&L management, selling, negotiating and leveraging insights to deliver tailored customer plans, achieving company and customer objectives and advancing category leadership.
  • Significant modern trade customer management experience and proven ability to deliver successful negotiation and customer solution in meeting/exceeding sales objectives.
  • Proficient in Cantonese & English
