Job Description

We have partnered with a global, fast-growing scale up which is using technology to disrupt and change current financial systems. They are on a mission to create better global payment networks and help connect the world to opportunities and address systemic inequality within financial services.

They are looking to recruit a Director of Business Development who will be driving B2B sales in a globally financially regulated company. This role will develop the overall sales and business development plan for the US

Key Responsibilities

  • An individual contributor role and responsible for developing the overall sales and business development plan
  • Develop sales strategies using your local market expertise to maximise go-to-market resources and execute against relevant opportunities
  • Provide timely feedback to line manager about performance, sales activity, account management and strategy
  • Ensure account retention, contractual health, well-being, and maximum satisfaction of clients

Key Requirements

  • Hands-on experience working as a B2B salesperson within fintech/payments
  • Strong Understanding of customer, market dynamics, and requirements within North America
  • Experience in multiple complex solution sales to financial institutions including Tier 1 Banks
  • 8+ years experience in the payments industry
