Award-winning recruitment agency Space Executive expands amid rapid international growth
Multi-disciplinary, award-winning executive search agency Space Executive has further bolstered its global footprint with a strategic office launch in London amid a period of aggressive global expansion and accelerated growth in the European market.
Space Executive will focus on growing its presence in Technology, Governance, Leadership and General Management, Venture Capital and Private Equity, Global Banking, Market and Asset Management, Insurance and Insurtech. They plan to grow the European business by replicating a similar business model to the one that has catapulted the APAC business to become one of the fastest-growing multi-discipline recruiters in the market, approaching 50 consultants in 5 years.
This is the company’s first international office launch outside of Asia, and will be led by Space Executive’s founding partners, Marek Danyluk, Managing Partner & CEO and Ben Horn, Partner & Managing Director, U.K., who have both transitioned to the U.K., to launch the London office and support the company’s burgeoning European operations.
Marek Danyluk will oversee and manage Space Executive’s global operations from the new U.K. office, while the U.K. team will be spearheaded by Ben Horn.
The London office launch announcement follows the appointment of a new APAC Managing Director, Nick Lambe, to oversee Space Executive’s outstanding APAC operations.
Marek Danyluk, Space Executive Managing Partner & CEO, has over 18 years of experience in recruitment. He was a founding partner of London based recruitment firm, Investigo, the recruitment success story of its time, being accepted in the ‘Times Virgin Fast Track List’ of companies in 2007, 2008 and 2009. In 2015 Danyluk set out to launch a new type of boutique search firm. Based in Singapore at the time but has now moved to London, says he wanted to get away from the traditional “country-centric approach” to recruitment and create a company with a more international ethos.

Ben started his career as a serial entrepreneur, leading ventures from sporting apparel to vending machines. After multiple buyouts, Ben moved into the London executive search market specialising in Finance Leadership mandates. After four years in London Ben relocated to Singapore to set up and scale the commercial operations for a UK Multinational across South East Asia. Ben joined Space Executive in 2015 as a founding partner and has now relocated back to London to oversee Space Executive’s European expansion and spearhead the newly launched U.K. office in the capacity of U.K. Managing Director.

Luke Skinner joins Space Executive with more than six years of experience in the recruitment industry, specialising in financial services. Tom Hughes drives Space Executive's UK and European growth in line with the extensive global reach and clientele already established across the Asia Pacific region, he is backed by seven years’ dedicated executive search experience covering Financial Services and Governance positions including, risk management and is fluent in both English and German.
Kate Castell is a senior consultant for Insurance and Insurtech. She holds extensive professional experience in Financial and Insurance markets across major countries in Europe such as Germany, the UK and Switzerland and is bilingual speaking both English and German fluently.

About Marek Danyluk, Managing Partner & CEO, Space Executive
Marek became a founding Partner of the London based recruitment firm Investigo at the age of 24, where he spent the first 8 years of his career. Investigo was arguably the recruitment success story in the UK over that period, being accepted in the ‘Times Virgin Fast Track List ‘of companies in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Having sold his share in the business, Marek then joined a global recruitment brand to grow their Asian businesses initially setting up its Banking division in Hong Kong before relocating to Singapore to set up the office. Marek sat on the Global Board of Directors and the Singapore business contributed in excess of 60% of group profit during his tenure.
