Space Executive Appoints Senior Recruiter Tom Hughes to Spearhead London Operations

Space Executive has recently appointed senior recruiter Tom Hughes for its new London team to head the Audit, Risk, Compliance & Legal recruitment operations of the company in the UK & Europe.

We have lately extended our operations to London and Tom Hughes is the first hire for the London office. He joins the company in the capacity of “Head of Audit, Risk, Compliance & Legal – UK & Europe”.

Space Executive is currently on a spree of overseas expansion. Tom has joined Space Executive to drive the company’s growth in both the UK and European markets, in alignment with the firm’s extensive global reach and vast established client-base across the Asia Pacific. In line with our international growth plans, two of the founding partners from Singapore will be moving to London in the first quarter to 2020 to support the accelerated growth of the firm in the European market.

As a senior recruiter, Tom is backed by 7+ years of dedicated executive search experience covering Financial Services and also Governance positions including, risk management, internal audit, financial crime, compliance and legal.

A renowned professional with an eclectic background, Tom first started his career as an Army Officer (trained at Sandhurst) for the British Army. He, later on, went to study Law at the University of Lincoln.

On graduation, Tom opted for a career in recruitment. His fluency in German, coupled with his expert recruitment skills, has enabled him to carve out a niche specialism especially for the European market.

The revered recruiter holds expertise in recruiting senior-level professionals across Europe. He has also handled assignments in the Benelux region. Tom boasts an elite client base, including leaders and pioneers across the Private Banking & Wealth Management industries and also esteemed Investment Banks.
