A world renowned US Technology giant has an exciting opporutnity for a Talent Director on a 9 month contract. 

You will be accountable for planning, designing and implementing the talent, culture and engagement strategy across APAC. Key components of the role are the design/running of talent programmes, learning and development agenda, embedding the company culture into people practices, enhancing employee engagement and driving the diversity and inclusion agenda.

This is a key HR Centre of Excellence which will partner closely with six market HR Directors to ensure successful delivery of propositions (India, Greater China, Japan, Malaysia, South East Asia and Australia/New Zealand).  The role line manages a team of three HR professionals and is a key member of the APAC HR leadership team. It also has an influential voice amongst the global talent community, regularly engaging with equivalent role holders in other regions (UK, EMEA, North America, Latin America and Brazil) and working closely with the Global Talent Director based in Europe.

As a successful candidate you will have a proven track record of leading a high performing HR team in a high expectations and fast moving business environment. You will ideally have held roles in HR Partnership as well as within an equivalent HR Centre of Excellence. You will have a curious appreciation of business strategy and be capable of turning strategic insights into practical deliverables. You will have an appreciation of industry trends and will use these to push the boundaries with your innovative thinking and approaches. You will be adept at building sustainable professional relationships at all levels of the organization and have a track record of delivering successful change via excellent coaching and influencing skills. You are prepared to move from the strategic to the operational and you have a passion for working across different geographies and cultures.
