Job Description

Our client is a world-renowned consumer brand with strong presence in Asia Pacific.

They are looking for a Talent Acquisition Expert to work closely with the APAC Leadership Team members and the Head of HR, APAC to ensure all functions have strong talent and recruitment plans in place. Aligning with business strategies, you are responsible for the attraction of the best possible talents.

As part of the global TA team, you will work closely with the Head of TA APAC to ensure consistency and quality of processes and service levels are upheld by the APAC TA team. You will also be involved with and help to manage a variety of TA related projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of HR APAC and Head of TA APAC to be the custodian for and educate hiring managers on how to execute the brand methods of hiring in a consistent way across the business, applying a tailored approach where needed
  • Support APAC HR team to develop recruitment plans with strategies to address skills shortages and ensure key roles are resourced effectively
  • Partner with the HR Leads and Hiring Managers to define profiles needed for roles and ensure the best assessment methodologies are used for each role
  • Equip hiring managers in the use of interview approach, recommend resources and technique for interviewing, assessing and evaluating candidates
  • Deliver recruitment excellence standards & initiatives, reinforce recruiting principles, recommend and implement process improvements
  • Identifies proactive and creative recruiting strategies for candidates pipeline channels, including leveraging our technologies, social media and other recruiting resources to identify qualified candidates
  • Act as a brand ambassador who drives the candidate experience and ensure we have a rich candidate pipeline to support business
  • Build employer branding strategies and lead initiatives to increase our company and brand awareness in the region
  • Keep abreast of all that is new in the world of recruitment, assessment and on boarding, to bring new recruitment techniques to the table where required
  • Highlights trends and themes discovered by working with hiring managers, talking to candidates and staying on top of market trends
  • Regularly review and measure successes and challenges to ensure we achieve and improve on our own recruitment KPI’s, driving down time to hire and cost to hire
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to the leadership team, as well as evaluating trends and using this to drive continuous improvement and identify future opportunities
  • Lead key TA projects in the region and participate in global TA projects
  • Align regional processes and global processes, drive best practice standardization, promote accountability of metrics, and ensure team is meeting recruitment goals
  • Assist the Head of TA APAC to lead APAC TA Team, providing regular coaching, feedback and support to create a high performing team and enable them to fulfil their career aspirations
