Partnering with one of the most innovative consumer banking organisations in Asia, we are recruiting for a Senior Vice President of Platform Architecture to act as a visionary and strategist for solution, platform and application area. 

This role will act as a technical solution SME that will provide expertise in identifying and translating system requirements into software design artefacts, driving POCs and provide full end-to-end solution design and implementation. This position will need to ensure adoption and implementation of roadmaps through cross collaboration and teamwork. 

Key Responsibilities

• Leading a team of solution architects and domain experts that will provide innovative fit for purpose solutions
• Navigate through and understand business functions and transform requirements into detailed technical artefacts and blueprints
• Be able to decompose monolith applications into meaningful solution architecture around Microservices, API’s, Cloud Native Platforms in a Cloud/DevOps environment
• Be technically capable in building POCs, provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team during the SDLC
• Be a user and contributor to enterprise architecture collateral and ensure the solution architecture aligns with the roadmaps established by the enterprise architecture
• Document and manage how multiple applications are integrated and function together
• Create detailed migration plans for systems which are at the end of the software life cycle

Key Requirements

• Experience in Microservices Architecture and Cloud Native Architecture
• Demonstrated knowledge of end-to-end solution architecture understanding, including enterprise Java Stack, middleware and cloud technologies
• Strong experience in leading software development and solution architect members
• Proven experience in managing the delivery of enterprise grade project, from design to implementation
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills to articulate at different levels of organisation hierarchy
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in technical leadership and ability to convey technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders
• Banking experience not essential but experience in developing large scalable solutions is a must
