Our client is a fast-growing international payments Fintech who look to connect small & medium businesses globally. They are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join their Design team who will champion their customer's needs while also mentoring and coaching other members of the team in all things UX. This role reports directly into the Head of UX and be responsible for the design of key product areas while working closely with Product Managers, Developers and other stakeholders.

Your portfolio will show strong experience of working throughout the end to end design process with a passion for solving customer's problems and creating the best in class experiences. Being a collaborative and committed team player is also key in being successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating research plans to assist the Product teams in validating/invalidating features and ideas

• Working cross functionally with Marketing and Product teams to identify research topics as well as solutions

• Articulating research outcomes to multiple stakeholders and turning them into actionable steps

• Run and assist in running workshops and design sprints with cross-functional teams

• Creating Sketches, wireframes and prototypes to illustrate and test your solutions

Design Approach:

• Be an advocate for the end user within all functional areas of the products

• Have a solid understanding of the different needs customer groups globally

• Strong experience using prototyping and test design tools and methods

• Creating detailed user flows to communicate your customer's journey

Key Requirements:

• 4+ years UX Research and Design experience

• Proven experience in using a variety of UX methodologies and approaches in the right context

• Demonstrate how your research has influenced the outcome of a new product or feature request

• Solid understanding of interaction design and an excellent appreciation of typography, layout and colour

• Ability to articulate UX decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Good understanding of Agile practices

• Experience working with and/or building a design system

• Experience with design tools (Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD)

• An understanding of front-end development (HTML & CSS)
