Our client, a global real estate & hospitality REIT is looking for a Senior Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. Conveniently located in the heart of the CBD, you'll enjoy career development and personal mentoring. 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare full set of accounts (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable) of an assigned group of overseas subsidiaries
• Prepare Profit or Loss and Balance Sheet schedules
• Assist in liaising with overseas hotel operators
• Prepare quarterly/monthly GST report for GST registered companies
• Ensure yearly income tax returns, property tax and quarterly GST filling are filed before the due date imposed by tax authorities
• Assist in the preparation of assigned monthly forecasts and annual budgets
• Prepare monthly cash flow forecast and monitoring of funding balances
• Assist in monitoring of the group’s treasury position and managing loan interest payments, repricing, loan rollovers for the group’s borrowings
• Provide support for the year-end valuation exercise

Key Requirements  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, ACCA or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years in accounting and finance. Audit experience welcomed
• Strong analytical and accounting skills
• Team player while being able to work independently on assigned projects
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong in Excel and Word
