The organisation is a mid-market PE firm, looking to add a scrum master, on a permanent or contract basis.

The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert, has excellent logic and problem solving-skills and is driven to make a difference. They must enforce the rules of scrum, putting their team first, promoting self-management and improving our standards of work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical departments
• Communicate with other senior members of staff on product issues
• In depth knowledge of goals and desired objectives of the project
• Organise and facilitate project planning, daily meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings
• Maintain process documentation
• Ensure development teams are practicing core agile principles
• Assist with backlog maintenance, and resolution of defects/bugs

Key Requirements:

• 4+ years' of experience in project management and 2+ years of Scrum Master experience
• Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies and procedures
• Understanding of software development lifecycle
• Understanding development platform and languages
• Understand technical issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced negotiation skills
• Certified in SCRUM/AGILE as scrum master
