Sales Manager (London)

Opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join a rapidly scaling B2B Fintech.

The latest round of funding totaling around $200 million from the likes of JP Morgan, BNP Paribas, and Citi Bank, is enabling this credit card fintech to grow rapidly.

Looking for an experienced Sales Manager to manage one of the UK-based acquisition sales teams. Sales have been growing quickly and consistently in the last year, and a Sales Leader is now required to facilitate and drive further growth of the sales department.

You will report to the Head of UK Sales whilst working in conjunction with the existing Sales Managers and Sales Development Managers UK-wide. Being in a leadership position, you are right at the centre of the sales strategy, driving performance and development. You will be integral in building solid relationships across the UK-wide teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and coach your team of direct reports (10 BDM's)
  • Performance reviews using analytics and pipeline management
  • Set targets and objectives for the team, that are aligned with the wider business priorities
  • Create a collaborative culture with other SMs, knowledge sharing etc.
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales to define sales strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Work with the talent team to attract and onboard new talent

Key Requirements

  • 5 years+ of sales experience with 2 years in leadership roles, ideally in financial services
  • Ability to motivate and drive performance within your team
  • Experience sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and retaining talent
  • A track record of results-driven commercial leadership
  • Excellent communication skills
