Our client is an innovative and contemporary premium FMCG company with international presence. They are looking for a Sales Director for Travel Retail channel in APAC. The role is based in Hong Kong. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the brand portfolio from pricing, assortment planning, budget forecasting, buying, stock management and brand performance
  • Build and cultivate business relationships with all relevant levels of customer and act as liaison between customer network and the brand
  • Build a presence in the APAC Duty Free & Travel Retail channel and a development of the customer base
  • Elevate the brand presence and sales base in the region
  • Monitor sales development and co-ordinate with the Global Travel Retail activations and investment plans
  • Conduct business reviews with customer and training sessions with staff
  • Prepare reports on listings, sales, promotions and investments

 Key Requirements

  • Extensive experience of more than 8 years within premium FMCG industries
  • Have the ability to strategically develop markets and drive results
  • A deep understanding of the Duty-Free Channel and the region, with proven expertise in driving availability and sales output
  • Clear understanding of consumer/brand marketing
  • Experience in distributor or agency relationships
  • Communication skills at all levels with strong ability to influence across cultures to impact decision-making
  • Have outstanding ways of working
  • Able to successfully balance the demands for results whilst acting with respect and character
  • Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
