Our client is a European headquartered consumer healthcare product company. Due to increased emphasis on Compliance across the group, the company is looking to hire a newly created Regional Compliance Counsel. Reporting into the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, you will be taking lead in the implementation of the region’s ethics and compliance programme across a broad geographical remit.

Key Requirements

You are LLB/LLM qualified with at least 6 PQE (Commonwealth Bar qualification ideal but not required). Prior experience in advising on Compliance matters (especially in the implementation of relevant policies i.e. FCPA, Data Protection; etc) across the Asia region will be well regarded. Experience in establishing Data Protection policies and framework will be essential. 

Thi is an excellent opportunity for a Legal Counsel with Compliance experience to take on a huge regional remit and delve deeper into an increasingly important and lucrative domain.

To be successful in the role, you will need to have strong stakeholder management skills, high levels of integrity and excellent communication skills.
