We are working with a global bank in search of an experienced Product Owner who is familiar with the Financial Markets Operations environment, specifically margin operations and mitigating credit risk, and essentially look to change and/or improve this support function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the CPO with Product ownership and project management tasks using agile methodology
• Maximise the business value of the product resulting from work done by the transformation teams and drive forward the deliveries
• Identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and impediments
• Engage and collaborate with the Margin Ops function globally, Technology and with internal stakeholders, in line with the FMO, Margin Ops, and FM strategies and Regulations

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Operations Risk, Collateral Management, Middle Office and FM banking operations
• Proven Product Owner experience in collateral margin with operational experience with reconciliation
• Sound understanding of various Asset Classes, Trade Life Cycle, Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income
• Strong experience in Agile and JIRA
• Strong stakeholder management experience
• Solid understanding of Islamic repo and its requirements is a plus
