What You'll Be Involved In:
 
  • Your role will revolve around forging strategic partnerships with prominent consumer goods brands in Europe, with a strong focus on the fashion and luxury sectors.
  • Collaborate with our European and headquarters teams to achieve mutually agreed-upon objectives.
  • Assess market opportunities and requirements in the acquisition domain among major European consumer goods merchants, particularly in the fashion and luxury sectors.
  • Stay abreast of trends in the fashion and luxury industry, while profiling key players and industry dynamics.
  • Devise competitive strategies targeting both EU/US and Asian markets, encompassing areas such as marketing, communication, positioning, and digital channels.
  • Understand and address pain points of key accounts, analyzing competition and mapping how our payment solutions and mobile marketing can enhance their growth and efficiency.
  • Evaluate the potential of our solutions to address the needs of EU fashion and luxury players, including the introduction of new products.
  • Foster relationships with decision-makers at C-level and operational levels within major key accounts.
  • Analyze existing and potential acquiring partners capable of supporting our organization in capitalizing on merchant opportunities.
  • Lead the complete sales cycle, advocating for our payment and marketing services with key accounts.
  • Facilitate legal and compliance processes during commercial negotiations when necessary.
  • Coordinate with product and technical teams for the integration and implementation of new solutions.
  • Collaborate with acquirers to distribute our offerings among selected key accounts.
  • Monitor the performance of key accounts and recommend improvements as needed.

Desired Profile and Skills:
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the competitive dynamics within the EU consumer goods industry, particularly in the fashion and luxury segments, spanning strategic, commercial, product, and architectural aspects.
  • Cultivate a robust network within the major European key account and ecosystem landscape, including relationships with prominent acquirers, payment platforms, and digital and retail providers.
  • Bring firsthand experience from within or in collaboration with major luxury groups and industry players.
  • Exhibit expertise in offline and online payment offerings, product solutions, and performance metrics of acquirers and merchants.
  • Showcase a successful track record in business development concerning major luxury key accounts.
  • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, complemented by a sales-oriented mindset and pioneering spirit.
  • Thrive under pressure within an international environment, adapting swiftly to strategic shifts spanning Europe, Asia, and America.
  • Possess a solid grasp of card payments and alternative payment methods such as wallets, buy-now-pay-later, and account-to-account transfers.
  • Familiarity with the Chinese/Asian payment market and purchasing trends as applied to global online and travel shopping, encompassing target merchants and categories.
  • Understand mobile marketing, digital services, and trends in technological innovation.
  • Accumulate a minimum of 5 years of experience in payments, acquiring, and merchant development.
  • Cross-regional experience is preferred.
  • Exhibit a collaborative spirit, results-driven orientation, and self-initiative.
  • Fluent in English and French (Chinese and Italian proficiency is advantageous).
