BACKEND DEVELOPER | PAYMENTS | LONDON (HYBRID) | UP TO £75K DOE
 

Space Exec are working with a Fast-Growing Cross-Border Payments company to hire a Permanent Backend Developer (Mid-Weight) to join their expanding internal technology team.

This is a real opportunity to make an impact, drive a lot of change, as they are a small but growing business who are solidifying their in-house tech team, where they previously used agencies/contractors. They will also be expanding into new markets including North America.

Location: Hybrid working in London (x2 days a week in the office)

Salary: £70K - £75K DOE

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining their inhouse back-office services
• Building and maintaining technology roadmap
• Working on multiple parts of web applications
• Participate in code reviews

Required Skills:

• Java expertise – designing, building and testing Java EE applications, and Java Frameworks (e.g. JSF and Spring MVC)
• Experience in the Payments Industry
• Experience managing external contractors / a small team
• Microservices architecture such as Docker, Kubernetes
