Our client, a Technology/Software company is looking to make their first legal hire in the SEA region. This is an expansion role, driven by their growing business in the region. This is a high-visibility role in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity to be a key member of the SEA team.

Key Responsibilities 

• Providing legal support to the company’s revenue teams across the region
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (data licensing, SaaS, data protection, professional service agreements and strategic partnership agreements)
• Building policies and workflows to ensure efficient legal services
• Working closely with the HQ Legal team to develop regional risk-management strategies
• Engaging and managing external legal resources
• Keeping the management updated about changes to the laws and regulations
• Manage other legal projects and duties as needed  

 Key Requirements 

• At least 8 PQE, called to a Common Law Jurisdiction
• Trained and practiced at top law firms
• Strong experience in the technology/ digital media/ software space
• Having a growth-mindset, enjoying a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Able to work well with an international team with different cultures
