We are looking for a lawyer with 5 – 8 years of post-qualification experience to join the Southeast Asia, Japan, and South Korea legal team, based in Singapore. 

This position will focus on supporting the Development and Operations teams in Southeast Asia, Japan, and South Korea – and will also be involved with a broad range of general advisory matters. 

Key Responsibilities: 

•  Support Development projects - drafting, reviewing, and negotiating hotel management agreements, residential management agreements, and franchise agreements with key partners and hotel owners in the Region. 

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating confidentiality agreements, MOUs/LOIs, term sheets, and ancillary agreements. 

• Advise on operational issues and asset management matters with hotel partners in the Region. 

• Assist to ensure compliance with franchise regulations in the Region, including registration processes and liaising with external counsel. 

• Provide legal counsel and advice to Accor business units in the Region in various aspects of its business covering various areas of the law (data privacy, competition, arbitration, litigation, and intellectual property). 

  Key Requirements: 

•  LLB degree

• Qualified to practice law in Singapore or Commonwealth country with 5 to 8 years PQE. 

• Preferred - experience in the hospitality sector – with prior hotel management experience. 

• Able to set priorities, manage workload and is action orientated. 

• Strong analytical ability, negotiation and drafting skills. 

• Highly collaborative attitude to work with diverse and multicultural working culture and colleagues.  

• Business acumen and commercial savviness.
