With an established and collaborative legal team, they are now looking to expand their in-house capabilities with the addition of a Legal Counsel focused on intellectual property (IP) and licensing matters. This is a newly created position, offering significant scope for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
- Lead on licensing agreements and negotiate IP-related contracts with third parties.
- Manage the protection, enforcement, and strategy of the company’s global IP portfolio.
- Collaborate with the R&D, product, and commercial teams to support innovation and ensure IP protection.
- Provide counsel on compliance with relevant IP laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Handle disputes and litigation related to intellectual property matters.
- Support the broader legal team on general corporate legal matters when necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 7 PQE, with a preference for candidates with more experience.
- Strong expertise in intellectual property law, particularly in managing IP portfolios and handling licensing agreements.
- Proven ability to handle complex IP issues in a global context.
- Experience working in a high-growth or multinational company is preferred.
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
