This is a world-wide fashion brand looking to hire their first legal counsel based in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing legal support in relation to commercial leases, contracting and terms & conditions, internal policy, customer disputes, data protection.
• Legal adviser to the company’s business including Human Resources, Finance, E-commerce, Marketing, Store Development, Store Operations and local Procurement
• Provide support in wider compliance initiatives in country as required
• To manage external counsel on any litigation matters

Key Requirements

• Admitted to the Malaysian Bar
• Must have at least 7 years PQE with in-house experience and at a regional scale
• Strong self-starter, able to work and navigate an environment as this is the first legal hire.
• Able to adapt quickly in a fast moving environment and possess excellent work attitude append with good communication skills
