Our client is a leading investment management firm with strong regional presence headquartered in Singapore. They are looking for a legal counsel to join the team. This would be ideal for counsels or lawyers who wish to step in-house, especially those who are interested in corporate commercial and M&A work.

Key Responsibilities 

• Report directly to Group General Counsel
• Provide general corporate commercial legal support to business units within the region
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts i.e. framework agreements, contracts
• Support legal and regulatory compliance matters
• Due diligence on transactions i.e. M&A, restructuring of assets and exit strategies
• General legal research and other related matters
• Support the team in other back end and administrative work

Key Requirements 

• 3-5 PQE, called to Singapore or common law jurisdiction
• Good regional exposure
• Attention to detail and able to work independently as well as in a team
• Hands on, able to work in a fluid environment
