The company is a well known B2B which provides an end to end solution for Indonesia's vast SME market. They have been gaining attention for the significant growth they've achieved over the past 2 years, and now they're tipped to be Indonesia's next unicorn. This role is based in Singapore, but you will be designing & launching products for the Indonesia market only.

Key Responsibilities

• Run the entire design process with a strong focus on the 3 key areas of Product Design: User Centered Interaction Design, User Interface and Visual Design, and Design processes
• Be a practitioner of user centered methodologies (user journey mapping, lean experimentation)
• Gain a deep understanding of user behaviour and be the voice of the user within the organisation
• Execute across all phases of design work: define conceptual foundations, execute UX flows, apply visual design systems, prototype, conduct usability testing, create production-ready designs and support multi-disciplinary teams during implementation
• Collaborate with peers in other design teams and contribute to the design community
• Inspire, drive creativity and identify industry best practices for user experience
• Provide leadership, direction and mentorship for design related projects
• Provide the most comprehensive solutions by fully understanding problem areas and analysing market trends and competitors
• Advocate for the users, understanding of the user-centric intersection between design, business and engineering

Key Requirements

• At least 5 years' experience in hands on user centric design
• Prior experience in tech start ups / ability to think quickly, handle uncertainty and help others navigate the fast paced nature of working in a start up
• Good leadership skills, having previously managed a design team
• A digital portfolio that demonstrates conceptual thinking, dynamic user experiences, a data-driven mindset and a knack for designing web apps
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey design decisions to stakeholders
• Experience with relevant tools (Figma, or Sketch, XD)
