Our client is a well known Global bank with a strong presence in Asia. They are looking to hire a Lead Business Analyst to work on the in-house Regulatory Platform for Financial Markets, based in Singapore.

The platform covers all areas of financial markets and intersects with many users across the bank. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to be working on improvements and enhancements to the bank's main trading system, used by thousands of employees globally. This is a full time role based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with users (across regulations, front/back/middle office, etc) to understand requirements and pain points
• Stay up to date on the overall strategic roadmap & propose solutions that align to this
• Translate solutions into detailed, unambiguous, business and functional requirements
• Work proactively with fellow BAs and other team members, ensuring work is proportionally distributed and targets are met
• Ensure documents such as functional specs support the development of practical technology solutions and suitable test cases

Key Requirements

• 8+ years’ experience with a core focus on Financial Markets specifically in a role relating to project delivery life cycle
• Good knowledge of at least 1 asset class and it's full life cycle (such as FX, Credit, Commodities, etc)
• Prior experience with Regulations, such as MIFID II, EMIR, CFTC, Dodd Frank, or having worked with MAS, HKMA etc
• Strong SQL knowledge is a must due to the technical nature of the platform
• Stakeholder management, as you'll be working with business and tech stakeholders across a variety of business lines
• Understanding of the FO to BO trade flow of financial products, including Middle Office, Operations and Finance activities
• Experience in big data solutions and data querying tools (Experience in elastic search is a plus)
• Experience implementing trade STP having multiple source platforms
